6. Get The Keys!

Once the contracts are signed and returned by your solicitor they will then agree a closing date suitable to both parties. On the agreed date the solicitor will have drawdown the mortgage funds from the lending institution. They will then use to these funds to complete the purchase of the property on your behalf. At this point you take ownership of your new home!!
